1. Website presentation
The www.managing-human-rights.vinci.net website is a human rights performance management tool for VINCI employees (including directors, project managers, engineers, health and safety managers, purchasing/contracting managers, human resources managers, etc.). It takes the form of a series of questions concerning the project or company, organised into five areas as defined by the VINCI Human Rights Guide. This tool guides employees in exercising their duty of care with regard to human rights and enables them to assess their practices against the expectations defined in the human rights guidelines.
The user's action will consist of filling in predefined boxes and/or text fields. The user creates an assessment, fills in the details of their project or company, completes the assessment which consists of questions and proposals of two to four answers on several human rights issues, can attach documents and add comments.
Based on the results of the questionnaire responses, a synthesis will be generated in order to build an action plan. The final deliverable of the tool will be an Excel table and an action plan in the form of a printable pdf file.
